When you think of the word technology the picture that comes in your mind is something that keeps changing its face with every passing generation. Until a century ago, it was all about factory smoke stacks, electricity, or the spinning gears. But now it’s about microchips, robots etc.

With this concept, there is also the evolution of the educational technology that is helping the education sector in immense ways. For instance, around a century ago, the school books were printed with the help of the printing machines that were driven by mechanical gears. Around a few decades ago, the tape recorders and the VHS videos helped the teachers and students in learning.

The educational technology is capable of making an assessment of the students automatically, thereby gauging the progress that the student is able to grasp. They also help in preparing the reports for the teachers and making recommendations in the process etc. The students too are able to take benefits from the modern day educational technology to gather knowledge faster than before.
